Most new owners arrive with one small worry, not a shopping list. Here is how a first visit works, from picking a single service to the short care note that lands afterwards.
Most questions come up while you are still deciding what to book. You do not need an appointment to ask them. Pick whichever channel suits the moment, and you will hear back from a person who works with the animals, not a call centre.
Best for same-day grooming slots, a quick weight check, or a question about a harness size. Someone picks up between opening and closing, and if the line is busy we call back the same day.
Useful when you want to describe a skin patch, send a photo of a chewed-up leash, or ask about a nervous dog before booking. Include your pet's age and breed if you can.
Drop by the counter if you are nearby. We can weigh your dog, check a collar fit, or point you to the right shelf without you committing to anything.

Calls are answered while we are open. Emails get a reply within one working day, and messages that arrive over the weekend are picked up on Monday morning. If something is urgent, phone rather than email.
Five steps, from the first message to the care note that lands in your inbox. Nothing here needs a full afternoon, and you can stop after any step.
A message or a phone call is enough. Scratching behind the ears, a harness that slips, a puppy that hates the brush. We ask about food, sleep, yard time and other pets at home before suggesting anything.
A grooming slot, a nail trim, a weight and wellness check, or simply a walk past the supply shelf. One thing, not a list. If your dog is nervous, we book a longer window so nobody is rushed.
Bring the leash you normally walk with and any food your pet is on. We let dogs settle in the room before touching clippers or a tub. Cats stay in their carrier until the room is quiet.
Owners are welcome to stay for the first appointment. We check the coat for ticks and fleas, trim nails, and note anything that looks off. If your dog has had enough, we stop and finish on a second visit.
Written the same day: what changed, what to keep an eye on, and when to come back. It is a few lines, not a report. Keep it somewhere handy for the next appointment.
Some owners return in three weeks, some in three months. There is no package to finish and no aisle to buy out. If you only need a deworming reminder, that is a complete visit.
Not sure which step fits your pet? Read the story behind Bhampets, or send us a message and we will point you to the right first service.
